July was a very interesting month for me from a photography standpoint. I had my first photographic exhibition at the Enough Pie’s Awakening on July 13, and it was a great experience. I learned a lot, met some great people, sweated in the oppressive Charleston humidity, and left impressed by all of talented artists involved with the event. I reviewed my work from the first half of the year, which is always good way to reflect on the past six months. And I started a Sunday Links weekly post that reviews inspiring and interesting content I’ve found on the web.
I did not create nearly as many images as I usually do over a month, and I’m really not sure why. I’ve been thinking about a few new projects lately, and I think I’m finally ready to get one started. More updates to come soon, hopefully.
On second thought, I’m very pleased with my mobile photography over July. The new VSCO Cam App is a great way to create and share images on your phone. You can see my work over at my VSCO Grid and my Instagram Feed. VSCO also has a curated grid that contains some really stunning and inspiring images.
